Monnaluna’s recent feature on RTV38 marked an exciting milestone for our brand. Since 1975, RTV38 has been a beloved source of entertainment and information for the Tuscan community, this year celebrating its impressive 50th anniversary. With Florence as our shared home, we were honored to be featured on the station’s Monday afternoon segment called Tadà, dedicated to health, fashion, and wellness, a perfect space to showcase our mission of empowering women through beautiful, handcrafted, personalized jewelry.
We had the pleasure of speaking with the incredible Lucrezia Calugi about the heart of Monnaluna’s concept during the show at Tadà on March 24th 2025 and want to share it with you here https://www.youtube.com/@monnalunafashionaccessorie3446/community
Our jewelry is inspired by the elegance and intricacy of the Renaissance, focusing on detailed, geometric designs that echo the artistry of Florence. We combine tradition with a modern twist through bold, customizable crystal color combinations chosen by our clients. Once they find the piece that resonates with them, together we create the best colourway that most expresses their individuality and authentic femmininity.
The experience went beyond anything we expected. The program was fluid, engaging, and filled with diverse, thoughtful content. I was struck by how closely our values aligned. Like us, RTV38 is deeply invested in supporting local people, projects, and creativity. Their programming spans everything from culinary arts and fashion to exhibitions, sports, historical moments and monuments, and regional events of all sorts - the best that Italy can offer. These themes are especially meaningful in Tuscany, a region that gave birth to the Renaissance, and still breathes life into that legacy through its art, design, and innovation. We both celebrate that cultural inheritance in everything we do. This is especially meaningful to our business since the founder of Monnaluna, has used her own experience from growing up in Canada and her strong ties to the innate Italian Roots, to bring forward a unique fashion business model that thrives on the harmonic designs of the Renaissance with a flare for modern necessities of women today without quashing their individuality.
We’re especially grateful to RTV38 for giving small businesses like Monnaluna the space to tell their stories. This kind of exposure is invaluable, particularly after the challenges recently faced by small businesses and the artisanal production lines in light of the current global uncertainties. For us, this moment was about more than just visibility; it was a chance to reconnect with our local community. Although many of our customers have traditionally come from abroad, we’re excited to strengthen our roots here in Florence and invite more Italians to discover what makes our jewelry so personal and timeless.
Being featured on RTV38 is not only an incredible honor – it’s a deeply meaningful opportunity to share our story with a community that truly values craftsmanship, authenticity, and the spirit of “Made in Italy.” This moment reflects Monnaluna’s roots in Florentine artistry and our continued mission to celebrate beauty, femininity, and the enduring elegance of Italian design.
Grazie RTV38!!💕
